No-Weld, Bolt-On Brush Guard Install — What to Expect
One of the best things about a properly designed brush guard insert: you don't need to weld anything. Here's the typical install on a compact tractor.
What you'll need
- Basic hand tools (sockets/wrenches)
- A drill with a metal bit (only if your model requires a couple of pilot holes)
- 30–60 minutes
Steps
- Position the guard against the factory loader/grille frame to find the mounting points.
- Mark and drill any required holes (most fits need two or fewer — many need none).
- Bolt it on using the included hardware. Snug everything down evenly.
- Check clearance — confirm the hood opens and lights are unobstructed.
That's it. Because it's bolt-on, you can remove it just as easily for service.
